are we poosible to have evolution or mutation?

we are possibly all came from basic cell in the ocean assuming the earth was full of water or our ancestor created the cell for cell to adapt earth environment.  Our cell kept evolve to different species. However, we probably cant have evolution because evolution takes a lot of time.   We can mutate if we can work hard.
